Waihonua is a luxury condominium that is situated in between Koolani and Hawaiki Tower. It is also situated on the mountain side of Nauru Tower, 1350 Ala Moana, and Hokua. The 43-story building was built in 2015 and is comprised of 341 residential units. The building was developed by Alexander and Baldwin Properties. The building consists of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom floor plans. The typical floor plate has 9 units per floor and this floor plate is from floors 7 through 40. On Floors 3 and 4, there are only 4 units per floor. Floor 6 has 6 units on that floor. Then on floors 41-43 the ocean facing units change to larger 3-bedroom penthouses. The unit break down by interior living area is:

- 2 Bed Units: 1,002 - 1,214 sq. ft. (182 total)

The building's location is very conveniently located as it is in between Ward Village and Ala Moana Shopping Center. Some notable features is that the building has 24/7 security, central AC, and it is pet friendly and allows 2 pets up to 40 lbs. The only drawback is that the 1-bedroom units do not have any lanais/balconies. There are only lanais for the larger residential units. Overall, Waihonua is a great luxury condominium that far exceeded the expectations of all realtors. The project showed that it is possible to develop on a small sized lot. Also, that channel views can be quite nice.

Waihonua has a variety of amenities that you would find in a typical luxury condominium. The ground floor has the lobby along with the mail and front desk security. Outside there is surfboard storage near the guest parking stalls. On the 5th floor you will find the fitness center which is separated into two areas (the cardio area and the free weight area). There is also a yoga room, resident lounge, theater, and two guest suites. The guest suites may be reserved by residents and are perfect for when you have out of town guests over and you don't want them to stay within your unit. Then on the 6th floor you will find the club room, hot tub, infinity edge swimming pool, recreation deck, BBQ grills, and poolside cabana areas.
