Anaha at Ward Village

Anaha is Howard Hughes' second tower in Ward Village Kakaako - a 60-acre master planned community located in the urban core of Honolulu. This luxury building was designed by Chicago-based firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz in collaboration with Ben Woo Architects. The tower was completed in 2017 and initially had pre-sales back in 2014. What makes Anaha unique is its signature overhanging see-through swimming pool and rubix cube like orientation which allows for different view planes and reduces sound that travels upwards. Anaha is the Hawaiian term for "reflection of light" and is incorporated into the building's twists and turns which reflects the light off of the waves from the nearby Pacific Ocean. Anaha's ground floor porte cochere also showcases Zhan Wang's stainless steel Artificial Rock Statue located in front of Anaha's living wall. The ground floor retail restaurant is currently occupied by Merrimans (which is very famous and originally from the Big Island).

Anaha will have 236units in the tower portion of the building and will have a combination of 1, 2, or 3 bedroom units. There will also be 81 townhomes and flats on the lower part of the building. In the tower towards the top will be several variations of Penthouses which will even have a 4 or 5 bedroom option and the top two grand-penthouses will even have their own roof-top terrace and pool.

Residence Features

The residences in Anaha will typically have 9' ceiling heights and 10' in the Penthouses. The building is a LEED certified building and features double glazed glass, central AC, LED lighting, and on-site security. Inside these luxury units you can find hardwood flooring in the living area and kitchens and premium wool carpet in the bedroom. The bathrooms have free standing tubs, polished-quartz counters, and toto washlets. In the kitchen there will be polished-quartz counter tops, European cabinetry, Miele kitchen appliances, wine refrigerators (in most units), and optional motorized window shades. 

Residents may also enjoy concierge service, use the luxury appointed guest suites for visitors, have on-site guest parking, and valet parking if desired.

Anaha will have several variations of penthouses ranging from 2 to 5 bedroom penthouses. The top two grand-penthouses will encompass half of the entire floor and will even have a rooftop terrace and private infinity edge pool.

Anaha will have a 7th floor amenity deck. Anaha will be located at 1108 Auahi Street and will be located to the right of the Ward Consolidated Movie Theaters and diagonal from Waiea and Aeo. Anaha is a second row Ward Village building and is considered a luxury tower in Ward Village.
