Aloha Lani is a 33-story building was built in 1976 and is comprised of 360 total units. Majority of the units are 1-bedroom units with the exception of the top two floors which are 2-bedroom split level Penthouses with large rooftop ocean facing lanais. The building was developed by Architect Daniel A. Klein & Associates and the General Contractor was Nordic Construction LTD. The building typically consists of 14 one-bedroom units per floor from floors 7 to 31 then on floor 32 and up you will find the remaining 2-bedroom units. Another important thing to note is that only the lower floor 1-bed units from 7 to 11 have lanais/balconies. Also, some of the Penthouses have converted the unit to be a 3-bedroom unit. The interior unit square footage ranges depending on the unit and are listed below:
- 1 Bed Units: 413 - 451 sq. ft.
- 2 Bed Units: 1,375 - 1,822 sq. ft.
The building's location is very conveniently located on the back end of Waikiki and gets good Mountain breezes. Some notable features is that the building has 24/7 security, covered secured parking stalls, and it is not pet friendly. The only drawback is that there is only one entrance/exit on Ala Wai Blvd which can sometimes get busy also units are not allowed to install their own washer/dryer inside their unit. Overall, Aloha Lani is a great starter condominium that can be used as a personal residence or rental.

Aloha Lani is an older building compared to the new high-rises in Kakaako, but don't let its age fool you when it comes to amenities. Aloha Lani would surprise the average person as its lobby is quite plain and looks like any other older building. But once you get to the top floor of the parking structure you will find a beautiful remodeled Amenity Deck featuring a new pool, hot tub, and various BBQ cabanas. The amenity deck was remodeled right around the beginning of Covid and still looks very nice. 1 floor below you will find the game room/library as well as the community laundry area. These have not been extensively remodeled but are still not bad given its age.
